Detective Byomkesh Bakshy (2015) ~ Bloodshed Action ⇐(read more)

Ajit Banerjee seeks the help of Byomkesh Bakshy a private detective to find his missing father for months. Bakshy finds the tail of the case and that leads to the big sinister plot which involves big shots of Calcutta. One of the best sleuths flicks in India. This film is good in all the aspects and any flaws can't be detected. Bakshy's introduction is very simple and he has wry attire.

Each frame is realistic there's no exaggeration. One tail leads to another that leads to another, there are plenty of red herrings to confuse the audience. He almost on par with Sherlock Holmes, no one can hide anything from him keeps keen eyes on them. An intricate plot plays with an ensemble of characters flawlessly. Connected all the dots of mystery and gives convincing justification in the end.

All actors had immaculately done their performances well and they fit into the character that's allocated to them, especially Sushant excels in his performance. Bgm is an exceptional, really offbeat one that adds up value to the movie. The cinematography takes us to 1942, captures the plight of India with a gloomy effect, and even covers the itsy bitsy thing that had been practiced in the era of ancient India such as trams, costumes, and customs they used to, art department deserves lauds for their work.
The movie ends with Quentin Tarantino's style that bloodbath and realistic action scenes. Overall it's a movie that filmed with tremendous cinematography and intense screenplay which unfurls twists in the end. Must watch 👍⭐⭐⭐
