CINEcarpe Review

Happy Death Day (2017) ~ (you sneaky little B*"#!) ⇐ (read more)

What this about?
College student Theresa Gelbman continues to relive the day when she was killed to discover the identity of her murderer..?
We crew experience with this film: ⭕Even though the script is not a practical one, I had enjoyed this film. Some junctures made me laugh spontaneously. It had kept me suspense until the end as to why this was happening and who's the man tries to kill her.
The script is written well, each of her re-live days is written with different events and different attempts have been taken by the killer, those scenes are quite enjoyable.

watch Movie trailer here..!

The scary moments didn't seem much horrifying and the movie has a predictable end too, so these are drawbacks in my opinion.
Mediocre cinematography and performance from actors.Final verdict: ⭕It won't let you be disappointed instead entertain you with some comedy and get you to be engaged by keeping you in tension. Watch it

Watch Trailer here.. The gentlemen(2019)

A crispy non-linear screenplay blend with realistic actions and comedy clips. From the very first scene, it evokes attraction towards the film by delivering the dialogue from Mickey Pearson that 'King of the jungle".
After this shot, few mins maybe get boring because they just giving intros to all the characterizations by only conversations, then, the pace of the movie increases along with the story movement. All the characters seem debonair gentlemen with attractive demeanors. The end of the movie is fast-paced with action-packed unpredictable twists and turns. Overall it's a crisp action-packed, intriguing, non-linear story. Must watch ⭐⭐⭐⁣

Talvar (2015) Review

CINEcarpe Review

Talvar (2015) ~ A Bold Weapon  (read more)

On March 15th a girl and her domestic helper khempal are murdered. After I watched this film, I was really got impacted as it's based on a real story that regards Aarushi's murder case. Defaming police is usual in films, we could able accept it as it's a movie only not happened one in real life but we can't tolerate it when it comes to happens in real life. How immature and being lethargic at their work?. In the first half, they would make us believe that it's an honor killing did by her parents since the girl had sex with her servant, we wouldn't fully believe it though and in the other perspective is it was done by the servant's friend as they have had drunk.

Irrfan khan, as usual, he gleams among all the performers with a subtly acting as a cool intellect CID, it almost like RDJ in avengers, looks smart with specs and confront everything with a laid-back attitude. He also facing personal life problems with his wife that regards to divorce.

watch trailer here.. Talwar

I got tensed by witnessing the works of those policemen. They lethargically handle everything in a double murder case and framing innocents as they get pressure from their higher authorities. This film bluntly shows how our legal system prevails and how weak it is that anyone can tamper and adjust the evidence as they want. Many films portray cops as always bad, we would feel cringe on those films but we can't achieve the same here since it's a real story with the realistic script. Each and every scene would trigger anxiety and keep us in suspense.

There has been a red herring to bewilder us example Head of the CID stops supporting Ashwin and object him instead, at that scene I had a doubt that was he bribed? But in the climax, there are no such scenes regard to it, then why are they opposing the convincing theory of murder and supporting the inconceivable theory and anything might have done on that investigation period though. ⁣

Overall story
"A crime thriller movie enlightens us as well as makes us feel pity for our system".⁣

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy (2015) Review

CINEcarpe Review

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy (2015) ~ Bloodshed Action ⇐(read more)

Ajit Banerjee seeks the help of Byomkesh Bakshy a private detective to find his missing father for months. Bakshy finds the tail of the case and that leads to the big sinister plot which involves big shots of Calcutta. One of the best sleuths flicks in India. This film is good in all the aspects and any flaws can't be detected. Bakshy's introduction is very simple and he has wry attire.

Each frame is realistic there's no exaggeration. One tail leads to another that leads to another, there are plenty of red herrings to confuse the audience. He almost on par with Sherlock Holmes, no one can hide anything from him keeps keen eyes on them. An intricate plot plays with an ensemble of characters flawlessly. Connected all the dots of mystery and gives convincing justification in the end.

All actors had immaculately done their performances well and they fit into the character that's allocated to them, especially Sushant excels in his performance. Bgm is an exceptional, really offbeat one that adds up value to the movie. The cinematography takes us to 1942, captures the plight of India with a gloomy effect, and even covers the itsy bitsy thing that had been practiced in the era of ancient India such as trams, costumes, and customs they used to, art department deserves lauds for their work.
The movie ends with Quentin Tarantino's style that bloodbath and realistic action scenes. Overall it's a movie that filmed with tremendous cinematography and intense screenplay which unfurls twists in the end. Must watch 👍⭐⭐⭐

GO GOA GONE (2013) Review

CINEcarpe Review

Go Goa Gone (2013)~ Dark Humour riot ! ⇐(read more)

Hilarious🤣 Three boys are friends, one of them gotta go to attend the meeting in goa, his other two friends persuade him to attend the rave party on a remote island which hosts by the Russian mafia. After the party people had some newly launched drugs which seem so costly, they have become zombies except for our protagonists, a girl whom they flirt with and two Russian gangsters only hadn't had drugs. How will they escape from this island when they are surrounded by zombies? is the rest of the story.⁣
watch trailer here Go Goa Gone

From the beginning you would start to laugh, their acting, accent, dialogues, and expression would evoke laugh in you. If you watch this movie with your friends, it will be so much fun. The screenplay is intriguing but won't trigger to feel any empathy or sympathy on them since it's a comedy genre. Cinematography, they have utilised the island landscape well, had selected a good location, those eager more attention to the screen. Saif Ali Khan as Boris acted well as Russian gangster, makes us laugh at some junctures with the Russian accent he speaks.
It would definitely be a fun roller coaster ride. Horror genre but there's nothing to make you scared. Music and bgm slightly elevate the movie's intensity at the same time create a joyful moment. Don't miss this entertainment.⁣

TRANCE (2020) Review

CINEcarpe Review

TRANCE(2020)Trance is my World ⇐(read more)

This is an advice to the fanatics of religion with mind-blowing colourful visuals. Anwar Rasheed gave a hype for this movie so the anticipation became a disappointment else it's a good film. The first half is filled well with a mild pace and #fahadhfaasil 's astonishing performance as a pastor.

The screenplay is filled with excitement about what would happen. Interval block is staggering. The second half slightly felt like I have had a drug, very slow pace, seemed perplexing, would check your patience yet the Fahadh Faasil's weird acting would make you glued into the screen. Totally, the second half might have been seemed boring yet that gave sense about how frauds make money in the name of god by deception.

Nazriya fahadh gave a ravishing performance, smoking weeds and drinking alcoholic, totally a new form of nazriya from what she's used to. At last, I left like had a trance state. Gautham vasudev menon aka GVM looks promising whatever he does have a uniqueness, his style of talking and mannerisms😍.

Overall Story

Story revolves around Viju Prasad, a motivational trainer based out of Kanyakumari, and the growth and setbacks he faces in different phases of his life.
